2014 Academy Awards (Oscars) Nominees

So, the nominees for this year’s Oscars are being announced right now.

Overall, the list of names announced were rather expected, with very few surprises. American Hustle and Gravity are leading with 10 nominations, 12 Years A Slave with 9 nominations, Dallas Buyers Club, Nebraska (surprisingly), and Captain Phillips with 6 nominations, Spike Jones’ Her and The Wolf of Wall Street with 5 nominations, and finally Philomena doing surprisingly well with 4 nominations. However, expected frontrunner, Inside Llewyn Davis was almost completely shutdown.
