The Wicked started with seven year old, Amanda who got swiped away from her bedroom one night, and rumors erupted in the small the town of Summerset, that the Witch has returned. A group of teenagers decided to sneak into the woods to search for the old wooden house where the legendary Witch lives. But they soon discover that the Witch has returned and she is hungry…
Well, there isn’t much to say really but that it is a C-rated film. The storyline is predictable and typical, there’s nothing new to it. The script was… at times painful to listen to. The acting was… at times cringe-worthy, except for the one or two cases. But I think what I was annoyed with mostly was the special effects in the film, it just made you take the movie less seriously, and it turn a scary moment into something that made you want to laugh. They overdid the sound effects, just to add more fear and suspense to the moments, but they were used poorly. The only way I sat through it was by multi-tasking while watching the film.
Overall, it was a terrible teen horror movie.
